Bryant R. Camareno, who is Board Certified in Criminal Trial law, has over 20 years of Criminal Justice experience.


Because he is a sole practitioner, Bryant R. Camareno handles all of his cases personally. He never delegates his important legal work. He personally handles arguing his motions, drafting and arguing his own appeals, and litigating his own cases.


Bryant R. Camareno attended the University of South Florida and Stetson University College of Law immediately after graduation he passed the Florida Bar. He majored in Criminal Justice and was a member of the National Criminal Justice Honor Society.


Bryant R. Camareno worked as an investigator for the Offices of the Public Defender in Pinellas and Hillsborough County. He then worked as a judicial law clerk for the various Judges in Hillsborough County.


Bryant R. Camareno also interned as a judicial law clerk for a United States Magistrate and a United States District Court Judge.


Bryant R. Camareno then spent ten years prosecuting various different types of crimes both in Pasco and Hillsborough County.


At the Pasco County State Attorney’s Office, he prosecuted D.U.I., domestic violence, juvenile and other major felony offenses. While at the Pasco County State Attorney’s Office, Bryant was the Designated Domestic Violence Prosecutor prosecuting all misdemeanor and felony domestic violence cases.


At the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office, Bryant was the Lead Trial Attorney for the Juvenile Division prosecuting all major felonies including Firearm Offenses, Burglary, Violent Crimes, and Sex Crimes.
Bryant later became the Deputy Chief for the Narcotics Bureau, handling all major drug offenses, including R.I.C.O. Violations, Title III Wiretaps and Drug Trafficking Offenses.


Bryant then went on to become an Assistant United States Attorney where he became a federal prosecutor.


As a federal prosecutor, Bryant handled Criminal and Civil Asset Forfeiture cases, Drug Trafficking cases, White Collar Crimes and R.I.C.O. violations.

As a defense attorney he has taken his experience as a prosecutor and has learned to dismantle the prosecution’s case to benefit his clients.


Bryant’s method of representation includes the following:

Investigate: Investigate the case through interviews, depositions and through the use of professional investigators;

Negotiate: Capitalize on the Prosecution’s weaknesses and secure a dismissal of the charges or an offer of a reduction of the charges in his client’s best interest;


Litigate: Bryant R. Camareno is always prepared to litigate the case which includes to file and argue motions to dismiss and to suppress. He is also prepared to try the case. He has tried over 150 jury trials and has an excellent knowledge of the Rules of Evidence and Rule of Criminal Procedure.
